I think they call it a turbo boost hose.
If you clean up the hose there should be some part numbers on it....you may need to remove it to see the numbers. If you ring TPS you should be able to get an ID of the hose from the numbers.
Thinking again about this problem you may have sticking vanes on the turbo or a vacuum pipe problem relating to the turbo.

OK, i managed to get hold of an OBD reader, plugged it in, and its come up with one fault code..
17965,
Which is "Intermitant boost fault"..
MMM, hopefully not a dodgy turbo, theres no smoke coming from the exhaust,.
It isnt a constant either, i took it out round the block yesterday, it was fine, took her out today, and it was fine, then, whilst at traffic lights, the accelaration had gone again.
Again, no smoke, just took a little bit longer to get up to speed, as soon as she hits 3rd, orwhen the boost isnt needed, im back to normal power.
Im still really hoping its the wobbly pipe, as i cant see anything else wrong.
I use the diesel plus about 2x a month,.
There hasnt been any more oil from the little hole under the silver round thing, ive forgotten its name.
Ive given the engine bay a clean, to see if there is any more oil for reference, also for the mechanic, just in case she has to go in.
Ive found it makes a bit of a difference if you give the area a bit of a clean before taking it in,.
So, looks like ill try this hose, then if not that, looks like shell be going to garage!!
Cant belive it, shes been a proper solid motor, no troubles, just nice solid trusty bit of kit.
Ive got a feeling its the hose, like i said before, a loose hose, with even a small amount of air in it, will cause no boost.
But, im no mechanic, and am probably wrong, as i cant afford to sort out a turbo etc, so itll probably be a new turbo, new engine, new windows, new wheels, new everything, such is my luck.( can you hear the little violins??)
Thanks again for reading, and for the input.
Now to get the hose thing.....

Its the one on the top left, tthe number 6 set of bits, (i hope!).
I did ring the VAG (what a name) people to ask for some part numbers, about that hose, they wouldnt give me a part number, only if i bought from them...

As mentioned before it could be the turbo vanes are stuck, same thing happened to my sisters vag 2.0tdi.
Find the turbo and try manually moving the actuator arm, there should be some resistance but it should move smoothly, if its stuck then the vanes are clogged up and stuck.

II have the same motor in my wifes seat ibiza, and had similar problems.
First of all I checked the boost hoses for leaks, and found one loose as you have. The clips wear out, and rather than replace one I fxed it in place with a self tapping screw.
You can take off and clean the antishudder / egr valve, or, as I did just move the leverback and forth until it mooves freely.
Lastly the turbo vanes were sticking, causing loss of power, so , as un1eash said, i found the turbo actuator lever ( tricky as it is under the turbo) and moved the lever back and forth until it mooved freely.
Since then no problems.
If you take it to a garage they will tell you you need a new turbo and egr valve £££££

Had a similar problem in my Sharan, the Turbo was removed and cleaned and the issue remained, in the end it turned out that one of the pipes had a small hole, fixing that resolved the issue.

Ill have a look at the actuator lever in the morning, thanks for the feedback guys.
I might have a quick bodge and wrap some ducktape around the end of my hose((oerr!!!!)) and try to squeeze it in , so its a bit tighter (oh my word x2 OOEERR), im really pinning everything on this....
There was still no oil around the shudder valve today, so i suppose thats a half a good sign, i hope.!
I reckon i might go to a garage , the one that does my MOT, and ask them if they can get a part number .
So annoying trying to find the part number, cant belive its this blinking tricky!!
