How did you persuade BMW to extend it for that length?

They kept dicking me around with the “fix date” so i moaned about a service i’m paying for but can’t use. They offered 6 months free at first, but held out for 12 months.

Any further news yet?

Just downloading the 2018-1 map update (all 22Gb of it) but should I risk installing it?

Found it.2015-1.So worth updating soon.

Should I hang on for 2018-2 or risk 2018-1?

mjn Publish time 24-11-2019 23:13:31

I’m on 2018-1 Premium with CIC iDrive, no issues.

The last contact I had with the bmw social media team was 6 days ago , thus time however they detailed that they were working on a fix, but there wasn’t a date yet. This is contrary to their earlier responses to me which said there was a fix and it was being applied incrementally so would improve over time !

mjn Publish time 24-11-2019 23:13:33

That is exactly what they did to me and my issues. And now all they’re saying is that, “some time this year”
