Interesting premise but has issues

The premise is interesting but that's it.
The animation is very average and sometimes bad. In some scenes the characters don't move their mouths when they talk, and in one particular scene in episode 2 the ocean was made with terrible cg so that characters looked as if their torsos were floating in space.
Modt characters are unlikable and annoying. Some of them don't even act like a real person and do stupid things that are beyond reason. To an extent sometimes the story/plotline doesn't make sense as well. Ok it's fiction I know but seeing characters having generic anime cliche personality and cliques in a serious survival situation is annoying.
