We're looking to go gun range too, what other things are a must do whilst in Vegas.

Cirque de Soleis. Didn't expect to enjoy it, it was more for the wife but I thought it was fantastic.

O at the Bellagio is supposed to be the best.

Flew in, saw the prices from the shuttle buses or Taxi's to and from CES ...

Also the local NBC channel 3 reported the lowest price was $2.07 at that time (the 7th)...

I went to THE GUN STORE !

Just caught a taxi as not that far from the strip.

I hand picked all the guns I wanted to shoot by checking out their web site before I went.

It was dearer this way, but I fired all the weapons i'd seen in the movies and it was a superb experience.

Me and the Mrs went to see O at the Bellagio a few years ago. We didn't really know what to expect but absolutely loved the show. There was so much going on it was unbelievable and the music and singers were really good too. IIRC the tickets were expensive but worth every penny.

is it better to book stuff to do out there now, in England, or when we get there?

there was a groupon deal offering a 2 hour quad bike ride in the desert for $95 each. will it be similar prices to that when out there?

also, we want to do the rides on top of the Stratosphere - book that now or when we get there?

What's the cheapest way to get to Vegas? I'm in Ireland and I don't think there are direct flights from either Belfast or Dublin, so I'll likely be connecting in London or another mainland UK airport.

Pretty sure the one i went to was the Gun Garage.  10 min walk from NYNY hotel.

Good service.  Free lift back to the hotel.  Hot women at the counter was a bonus too



The package was only around $35 when i was there.  Can't imagine that much of saving could be had pre booking.  Just turn up and pay worked fine for us.

Virgin from Dublin seems to be the cheapest at the minute
