Hmm that'll be the same trolley my shop sell, funnily enough I see more going back for repair than anything else....Motors,Switches etc...but you may have a good one.

I bought myPowakaddy II online from a pro-shop in the north of England in September 2009.In October 2010 the drive axle broke and as I am based in Belgium, PK told methat although they have support staff in Belgium, my warranty only applied tothe UK. Therefore at my own cost I had to return the trolley to the UK where PKadmitted that it was due to a design fault but when the product was returned tome the wheels were not included. PW refused to accept liability and thepro-shop eventually supplied me with replacement wheels. The new wheels arrivedin January 2011. I therefore did not have use of the trolley for 3 months.

In July2011 the battery failed. Still under warranty I was forced to return thebattery at my costs which was replaced by PW.

In October2011 the drive axle broke again. This was one month after the end of thewarranty period and even although I pointed out that I had not had use of thetrolley for 3 months, PW were neither sympathetic nor interested.

Again the poor pro-shop stepped in and sent me a replacement axle and then supported mein how to replace the broken one. Excellent service from them

In September 2013 when I put the battery on charge after a round the battery wouldnot charge. I have now been told that not only does the charger need to bereplaced but the battery also at a cost of €190.
I am not spending any more money on it - it goes to the container dump tomorrow.

awfu lcustomer support and services in only 4 years.

Stay clear of the e-caddy ones! The handle snapped on mine after 15 months and it seems impossible to get a replacement. None of the email addresses work (or should I say they don't reply to emails sent to them) and they don't answer their phones either.

EDIT Whoops just seen the age of the thread

I suggest you start a thread in the classifieds then. You don't want to be banned from trading, do you

Motocaddy for me, silent in operation, easy access to parts if necessary.
Gokart, whilst nice idea, I just don't like the dreadful motor noise.
Powakaddy, too many unhappy customers that I know. Poor after sales, and reliability from my experience.

I use PowaKaddy and do rate it but a friend uses motocaddie and it's on a par (pardon the pun) but it's motor is noticeably quieter than mine. Can't go wrong with either but are quite costly and maybe above your budget.

I've had a Powakaddy for about 4 years now, changed the wheels once and had a new battery but the trolley itself has worked superbly well. It's fast and very powerful up steep hills.

Saying that my Golf Club sells Motocaddy and quite a few of our members use them and rate them very highly.

The motor on mine is pretty much silent although that may have changed on the newer ones.
