Because once the 80 minutes is up, there clock doesn't stop - like in "normal" play. So, Lee get's pinged and carded at 80 minutes and comes back 10 "real" minutes later.
The French substitution bringing Slimani back on was questionable at best. Then the nearside TJ failed to spot him continuously binding on the arm.
However, I find it hard to work out how Barnes didn't award a penalty try if he felt (and he clearly did) Wales were continually offending 5m out.
As for the George North "bite" thing - I guess the citing commissioners will look further. |
