Fantastic game last night. One 'head off, cabbage on' moment cost Ireland the game. Sexton was sublime, must be the number one choice at 10 for the Lions.

England played well, very well indeed. As a neutral and as a test match it was so disappointing, all done and dusted in the first 20 minutes. Brutal affair though.

Best display from England so far but I wonder how much Scotland contributed to it and how much the injuries they had affected them. Its not as if they have a very large squad of decent players, the yellow card was brain dead and cost 10 points, then losing their best outfield player followed shortly by his replacement meant they had two players playing out of position. Then again their forwards were outplayed so they didn't have enough ball work with. When they did they asked serious questions of the English defence, something that ought to be of concern EJ.Although it was a hammering, I don't believe they should be too despondent as Cotter has certainly been taking them in the right direction.
Putting aside tomorrow's results, what interests me the most is who will make the Lions squad

Scotland v Italy was a poor game earlier. Conditions were bad but play from both sides was on top of that too.

Wathing France v Wales at the mo and the refereeing is strange in this. Especially the first half where the Welsh knock on wasn't looked at but France's was penalised. I can't see any logic there whatsoever.

That's Wayne Barnes for you. Same in Wales v Ireland match.
