URGENT: Royal Mail

We used to send lipo batteries via the royal mail, they then started intercepting and destroying the entire package, so basically don't send them by royal mail - unless you want to loose the battery and everything else in the package.

We now only use dpd for them as they only use the road network. It's a pain but it is what it is.

Now our customers who want to buy a £5 lipo need to pay £5 postage too.

(my understanding is) basically you can only send batteries which are hooked up to a electronic device.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but anybody have any advice on posting batteries? To summarise I need to return an item to Amazon which has batteries, I have a shipping label which proudly boasts that there are batteries within, my son went to post it just now and has messaged me to say the local PO turned him away and would only accept the package if he sent it without the batteries.

Each battery was individually bubble wrapped which he showed the PO staff but the computer said no, what a pain, how the hell are you supposed to return the item?

Contact Amazon and let them sort it out.... get them to get a courier to pick it up....
