I've been thinking about this for a while now and that thought comes back to me each time I upload another batch of photos to Lightroom - the more photos I take as a photographer, the less creative I am. Is it only me with this terrible feeling that I am actually going backwards here? Do we lose the sparkle once we start chasing those perfect exposures and become obsessed with numbers and gear?
I tend to experiment less and just take shots routinely. There is no love in them, no sparkle, just clean, lab-quality boring exposures.
I might as well post histograms to Flickr instead of photos, they might even be more exciting. |
