I cancelled my post not to influence you but looks like I wasn’t fast enough...
Issue you have is that we don’t have reviews of the tv your after so that could be a risk...versus the list I shared with you (reviewed by this site)
Like I said previously, if this is just a stop gap tv, you have to ask yourself for how long and what you do with it after (second tv, you sell it,..)
Read below for the pleasure but you really don’t have to
Buying a TV? Here Are 11 Things You Should Know
What is HDR? High dynamic range TVs and phones explained
The link has the best TVs by size...
You looking for someone to tell you toshiba is ok? Answer is yes and same for hisense...endlesswaves is right.
However, if you are after a stop gap tv, I think you can manage better overall TVs for 49 and 55 size...again look at the shared best tv link with some good Samsung (NU range) and Sony (xf85 and xf90)...pana possibly. Oled B8 from LG which may reach £1k in 55.
One final advice: you don’t know what you are missing until you see it...just sit for a demo with some good TVs like oled or Samsung Q9FN or Sony xf90. Try also to see the Samsung 8k monster just to experience hdr. Of course, they are all mostly out of your budget (Sony not that far) but the idea is to make you appreciate 4k and hdr in a good tv. Watching tv becomes a pleasure like drinking a good wine in a proper glass and appreciating it. |
