I read about that and presumed it was gold dust! Where did you find it from?

Well it is most certainly more accurate on than the eye and the review results have been very good as far as I can tell with perfect gamma etc.

Got my 55WL863 yesterday. Despite some backlight bleeding i like it sofar.

After setting up the WiFi i tried the 'network update' functionality. After the software download completes there is a screen '... Are you sure you want to upgrade your television's software?'. I select 'Yes' and press 'OK' but nothing happens. I am only able to select 'No'.
Does any of this sound familiar?

After a few power downs and retries, the update seems to be working now.

high sirchc84 glad you got that sorted, on a scale of 1to 10 how bad is the line bleed, also has anyone watched any sport( football in general )any judder or haze around ball or players, still undecided on the YL863 to buy or not to buy all the best steve h

I watch football and in general it's fine.
I do sometimes see the ball "doubling" up, but it's not too distracting. I do see a very faint vertical line about three quarters of the way on the right too, but it's hardly noticeable and I've only ever seen it on football. The motion is fine.

Football is fine on my set too.  Also, I have no bleed whatsoever.  The panel is better than what I could have hoped for.  There is only a slight loss of black level a few degrees off center but certainly not much of an issue.  In terms of football, the motion is excellent for the best part.  As Kev12 mentions, there is somethings a ghosting effect on the ball.  This is only really a problem when the ball is travelling really really fast, for example when Andy Carroll blasts one over the bar from 10 yards

Football is an absolute pleasure to watch on this site.  I'm actually seriously considering cancelling my HD subscription because the SD quality is so incredibly good.  There is certainly a difference but it isn't significant.  Never did I think I would ever so that!
