I doubt its the glasses. Perhaps robodan is using a smaller screen size in which case the crosstalk is less prominent? As I said, crosstalk is much less noticeable on higher contrast/brightness settings. On most other sets when selecting 3D the brightness increases automatically however, the Toshiba doesn't do that. In order to watch 3D you have to manually select a brighter picture setting. Using the [Hollywood Day/Night] mode or even the calibrated [Hollywood Pro] mode is absolutely not an option. The crosstalk is awful.
Toshiba didn't do their homework on the 3D elements of this set. The auto-3D settings are dumb. I cannot find a way of manually selecting 3D SBS when in PC mode. 2D-wise after calibaration it is easily the best image I have ever experienced in my own home. |
