New TV Purchase Confusion

another thread says they are made in Turkey and have a VGA input which apparently none of the new panels bother with.

Any opinions on the screen of the 550

Bloke in Richer Sounds confirmed to me the 550 is indeed a Vestel TV when my folks TV blew up in January, as they have always had Panasonic.  Went for an LG instead
