Can anyone recommend a splitter that isn't the Ligawoo? It's sold out on Amazon.

I've already tried a couple of alternatives and I'm having a nightmare finding one that actually works!

hi folks,
I'm looking for a solution to work with my chromecast ultra and e55 lg oled and 3310 avr. The Chromecast is only outputting pcm to the tv and 2.0 to the avr via the optical out on my tv. Im looking for a switch that will allow me connect the chromecast and pass 4k hdr to the tv and pass unaltered audio to the avr via hdmi.

I'm looking at this Delock Products 18682 Delock HDMI UHD Splitter 1 x HDMI in > 2 x HDMI out 4K

Would it work? I like that it looks like you can power it from usb so I could potentially power from the tv

Cheers,
Mick

I don't think that one will handle HDR, but should be ok if that is not important to you.

How much is it? The Ligawo 3080001 is £59 on the big auction site and would definitely fit the bill.

It might be worth a try. I have got the 5x1 switch as opposed to the splitter and I’m sure a few people on this thread have said they have run them successfully without any power at all.

This must prove that they at least don’t need too much power, so USB might provide enough if you can find an adaptor.

I hope the splitter works well for you. I have been delighted with the switch. I bought it to stave off buying a new HDCP 2.2 AVR for a while and it has worked so well that I’ll keep my old one for quite a bit longer yet.

I’m looking for a 4k HDR switch and have come across this from Lindy. Anyone had any experience of their gear? Any good?

3 Port HDMI 2.0 18G Switch -  from LINDY UK

Hi folks
Tried connection today. Lights on the switch but no picture on my hdmi input on TV. Any settings on the TV would need changing?
Thanks
Mick

You shouldn’t have to change any settings.

If you unplug the output to the AVR, do you get a picture on the TV?

Out now for afternoon but will try later. The avr is only 1080p should I set the switch to auto or 1080p also is it really fussy about power on sequence? I'm connecting chromecast ultra to the switch,  then the switch to the AVR and tv

I only got the splitter so I could send dolby digital plus to the AVR and 4k hDr to the tv
