TCL showed off quantum dot glass is IFA. My understanding is that's on glass doesn't bring any major improvements though

Dont know is this is proper topic for this video....

In any case i must say...thanks god for OLED tech because judging by this video i think micro led is far far away for as normal customers.
Also i m not super impresed by specs of sony micro led and ABL is maybe disabled bicause thy dont need to worry about power(electric) usage here.
Only reall advantage and thats a big one is non existance of burn in....

For now the price is insane and there is still big tehnological limit about pixel size so for 4k thy need HUGE diagonal.
Judging by this in some normal 65inch thy can achive...720p...480p screen resolution?
Also peak brightnes is really low for my expectations about this tech....

Well well!! The future is interesting
Improve the algorithm to control more led zones aka 5000-10,000 and we have something...
Give it 2-3 years to refine and reduce in price...
I was expecting Samsung but it is tcl in New York

Not sure tcl is in the U.K...
It could be well priced but that’s not the point really...it is exciting to see this starting and hopefully refining while the other follow up...
