Yeah that’s why I’m interested. Looks good.

the only thing that puts me off is that you need to lift the handle. So if you don’t, it won’t lock.

Looks interesting, especially since it's Ultion.

So how do you lock/unlock from the inside, does that unit turn? Not sure on voice control for unlocking a door, surely someone can just open you letterbox and shout though to Alexa?

Yes that’s a thumb turn on the inside. You can also set it to auto lock.

Alexa requires you to say a PIN before it unlocks.

Can you set it not to unlock from the thumb turn?

Maybe it’s just me but I have never thought these ‘door wart’ locks are ascetically pleasing. They all start off looking good from the outside but then there’s some whacking great box on the inside housing the motors and a couple of D Cell’s

I understand some are parasitic and sit on top of the existing door furniture but I still find them ugly.

Came across Level (The World's First Invisible Smart Lock) and they have a very interesting design that hides the mechanics away, whilst still having the HA smarts

Still early days but I have registered my interests. Will let you all know

I agree but that's not going to fit a UK composite/UPVC door.
