Grease vs Grease 2 ---&; No Contest

There is no contest, of the two movies, the no-doubt best is Grease 2. If you watch Grease 2 expecting a movie in a similar vein to Grease you will be greatly disappointed. The two are very different in tone and execution.

Grease 2 is a light-hearted FUN movie that doesn't take itself too seriously with a talented cast that more believably portrays high school students (unlike the main cast in the Original who all look too old to be in High School). A movie that stands well on it's own merits (indeed, if one has NEVER seen a Grease movie or production, I'd recommend they watch THIS, the superior, one first)
