The buzz on this seems to be far more than normal iterations and it does look like it will be a big leap.

Infinity-O screen
Finger sensor in display
Samsung One UI
Possibly speakers built into the screen.

Really hope the camera tech trumps even the Mate 20 Pro and Pixell 3 - but leaks seem to indicate 6 lenses.

Roll on March 2019.

Finger sensor in display isn't new. There are other phones with it..

Looks great but it won't be cheap

Been very happy with my s7 but the battery is starting to fail. I could just replace it but if this is a decent leap it may be time to upgrade.

They are only phones. I'll only be upgrading my 8plus to the 10 plus (or whatever the top phone is called) as its a contract and I'll be paying the same for the 10 as the 8. As for screens. All the top phones have reached the pixel limit that humans can see. Therefore the screen on the new 10 may have more pixels than my 8 or the 9 but they are invisible to the human eye. Humans have fixed limitations and that presents a major problem for big businesses. But if they can persuade people to spend £200 on a kettle and 5 grand on a washing machine and get them to believe its smart then anything is possible.

Is the 5G version going to be worth waiting for?

the phone will be announced officially on 20th Feb.

The camera might be under the screen, from a picture i saw.
the bottom half of the screen will be able to scan your finger so its not one specific location.
Samsung one UI will be released on other models this month like Note 9
I have to say the speakers on my Note 9 are really good stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

I own an note 9 at the moment so the S10 going to need something really special about it to make me fork out £800 to £1100 to upgrade from it...

As I find my note 9 does everything and has everything I need..

I most likely just wait till 5G comes out where I live and upgrade then

It is rumoured that the Note 10 will have 5G support in the US but not in the UK. Huawei might takes a chance and release a top end phone with 5G support for the European market.
