Can you use a joystick? Any advantages?

I just use the usual mouse and wasd key combination. Not sure that a controller would help at all.

Yay! World of Tanks was updated last week to version 7.1 and has now introduced a new French tank tree. Shame there's still no British Tank tree but it's getting there bit by bit. If you've not dabbled with this before it is certainly worth a try and more importantly it's free.

I have enough credits to perform research, also to research a couple of tanks- but it's not letting me. Any ideas?

If you have enough experience points, go to the tech tree and select the tank that you want to upgrade. If you are able to research it you will be able to click on it as it will be highlighted.

In order to install your upgrade, go to the garage and choose you tank. In the panel where have the gun, turret, engine etc click on the relevant upgrade and you'll see a list of what you can add and the cost in credits to install it. What you have fitted already is highlighted with the green tick. Hope this helps.
