I just stumbled across this thread, the game looks brilliant, count me in for next year as need to sort pc out as psu blew up and waiting for replacement. Lots of research to do while waiting though.
From a non player as yet anyway, I've youtubed a few videos which for a total noob are quite good, one user is called theriisingsun with 2 i's has posted a few tips
It's been like that from day one and can be a bit annoying but once you start learning your advantages or disadvantages then you can still have a fairly good game.
Oh yeah I do; I just try to hang around the heavy hitters and pick up scraps. Gets annoying though when you put 3 rounds into the back of a Churchill and get 3 penetrations for next to no damage and it's turret turns and 1 shots me.
Good game though; really enjoying playing as a TD.
I had some great games over the last couple of nights, I'm still very noobish and trying to learn this game.
Playing as a T-82 and got 6 kills on Himmelsdorf and 4 kills on Prokhorovka. I'm really enjoying whacking tanks with HE shells from a long way off
Game has been updated to version 8.3. This introduces the Chinese Tank tree which is an interesting line as it does not split until Tier 6 as nearly all the early tanks were obsolete ones from other nations!
I was in a game this evening and someone already had a tier seven Chinese IS-2 tank. Either it was some reward for participating in the beta or they must have been hammering the game since this morning.
