If someone could have a look i'd be grateful, this I'd roughly based on rubbertatti's recommendation .
She has never had a desktop before, always a laptop .

Personally I'd drop the mechanical hard drive and push the money into a 2060 super. Can always stick another 1tb ssd in further down the line

The PSU is overkill for that system 650w would be plenty.

Does it have to be intel? AMD offer better value for money at a higher spec.

Disagree with @jassco The GTX1660Ti is fine for her needs for the next few years and can handle VR as well. IMO a RTX2060 super isn't worth the premium being asked for it.

Personally I'd avoid HDDs altogether and stick with SSDs even for data. Yes they're more expensive, but they literally save you time and just make the entire system snappier.

The PSU is slightly overkill - 650W would be more than enough. I'd look for a modular one if I was building this myself, but if you don't mind unnecessary or ugly cables lying in the case (most of which can probably be hidden), then it's perfectly fine.

Or if you already have a Windows 7 or Windows 8 licence lying around you can upgrade to Windows 10 for free.
