I have the guide and I gotta say it's almost necessary to get the book to experience everything without panicking.  The 3 day thing just goes way too freakin quick and there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much effing stuff to do it's almost infuriating because I feel like I HAVE to check the guide to make sure I don't miss anything important.  So far I've killed ONE thing and I've played it for maybe 3 hours already.

It feels like the waste of a good game... but then again I'm pretty sure it's because I'm doing all the side crap the guide suggests.  I could have just gone to the swamp to beat the next part but then I know in the back of my mind I'm missing everything, lol.  I hate those little mini games too.  I have little interest in them but you often need to do them to complete something else.  I've never been a fan of mini games like that, in any game.

If I could go back in time I probably would have just not bought the guide and/or the game.
