My special edition game has shipped... another game to sit unplayed for a few months! I wasn't going to miss the steelbook though. Shame I couldn't justify the cost of the special edition new xl

Still waiting for my special edition to be sent from Nintendo along with my New 3DS, hope it's sent tomorrow.

Would have loved to of ordered the New Majoras 3DS but couldn't justify it with the amount of time I put into mobile gaming.
My 3DS XL is more than good enough for my needs.
Can't wait to replay this game though! (When I get time!)

I was surprised at the game being in a normal case and the steel book being totally separate.

Mine arrived at lunchtime, not played it yet but the package is beautiful and I love the steelbook case.

Yeah scalpers have had the fancy packaging - minus the game cartridge - listed on eBay for a profit ever since pre orders opened

It is good Nintendo do this for the fans and for a business it means they know they will sell out and not have unsold stock. Why they let people pre-order tens at a time is a wonder. Same deal with LE consoles

I really like that steelbook being separate.
My special edition shipped today. I got an e-mail from them saying I qualified for a skull kid figure if I bought the game because I already bought a new ambassador 3ds. Here's hoping they've sent the figure along with it.
