xbox 360 to xbox one or one s cant be done with a drive

you will have to use the cloud
just sign in with your gamer tag, and install of your purchases / down load them agin from the store

I've just upgraded to the one S and on non HDR games I can say it does make a little difference. Not much but def sharper. Even the Xbox menu is sharper

Cloud saves are not on by default on Xbox 360, so you will first need to make sure it's enabled in Xbox 360 settings, then proceed to move over the save files you want to keep from the Xbox 360 to Cloud storage. All will then be accessible from an Xbox One.
