Got a CC in my local town, will give them a call and see what they have. Got a GAME.net preorder but know for a fact I am not getting a launch machine. If my local CC has one I will be amazed and happy. 10 mins ago I didnt even know we had a CC and now they could save the frustration of not have a launch 360.

As for Cash Converters, I popped into my local one today.

I spoke to the owner, who said that very occasionally their head office got stock of an item centrally, and sent out the details to the stores.  However, there had been no mention of the 360's.  If there had, he said, he would have bitten their hands off.

He suggested that the owner of the store was probably doing it off his own back rather than through the head office.  He said that occasionally individual managers make "Contacts" which they sometimes use to secure goods.

Can only repeat what he said.
