I sometimes eat because I have too, not because I want too...
Like sitting in front of a computer and looking at the time I see its 12 or 1pm and know I should go and have something to eat (I have to eat regularly or else I could make myself ill) and often when I get into the kitchen I just can not be bothered even cooking anything, but I still do though...
What's working for me the last couple of days / week, is trying new things, or cooking things I have not eaten in months/years.
Recently I made a chicken casserole with dumplings and its was delicious (making it again this weekend hopefully) and for lunch I had tuna and mayo sarnies for the first time in about 8months, I know the sarnie isn't much but a change from the norm has helped me a lot lately.
Plus keeping away from the quick easy freezer food has also helped as I'm not a great lover of that kinda stuff, even though it is convenient. Its just getting off my lazy fat female bum which is the only thing stopping me from cooking more meals from scratch, but I'm getting there, and I feel a little healthier for it too which isn't a bad thing at all...
Hopefully there is some light at the end of the food tunnel for you soon, as there was for me... |
