Only once I had it that bad.

One time it wasnt that bad so went to uni for lectures. Was on my way home and I felt my stomach churning. Was a few miles from home when it got really bad and was at a red light. It has to be THE longest red light ever, I seriously contemplated jumping it as there wasnt traffic around.

Not nice at all.

If you are getting food poisoning that often mate I would make sure that your food is seriously piping hot before eating it and make sure you wash your hands properly with soap after going to the toilet and get a scrubbing brush for under the fingernails as well.

I would hate to ever get food poisoning again. I know for a fact I got it from a particular Chinese restaurant that I would never dream of going back to again.

I'm virtually never ill, but managed to get food poisoning a couple of years ago due to some dodgy pub food. Which I ate at noon and by the evening was starting to feel a fever come on, the next morning I felt fine and went to work. By lunchtime I was starting to feel really bad, weakness, cold and shivery. Left work after having a word with my manager and also took the next day off (Only day off I've ever taken 0_o), by the third day I was feeling much stronger and was able to get back to work. Still took several more days for all the symptoms to disappear.
I guess the best thing to do is eat your meals and drink lots of fluids, even if eating is the last thing you want to do.

I take all the precautions I can but I have had the same food as others and still got it. One time I remember is when we got pizza, everyone ate from the same one but I got singled out.

I was planning on seeing the docs about it but, thankfully, it has settled down loads now.

Some years back a new takeout opened by us called Paradise. More like Hell! First time we ate there, me, my brother and Dad got stomach bugs. The place didn't even last two weeks. Food was crap as well.

Plenty of fluids but for the first few hours don't eat, then eat light foods. Fruit and bread based. Stay away from meats till it has fully gone.

After I had it on holiday, the day after I went for a Double Whopper from Burger King. Silly move as we had a 250 mile car journey next day. Luckily I was fine. Mom had a go at me though.

I was convinced I had food poisoning last week and had several days off work. Was then surprised to see my missus, son and father in law all catch said "food poisoning". Isn't it this time of year that the ol' Noro-viruses start surfacing ?

had campylobacter some years ago, has an incubation period and first I knew of it was when I landed in Iceland for a university reunion! Lets just say I didnt have the best of trips! Went to the docs when I got back and it was confirmed, took me out for nearly a month in the end.

So often I hear people say they have had food poisoning when they have had a bad stomach or the runs for a day, doesnt even come close to real food poisoning that i'm afraid!

Actually, the doc had to come to me, for the first time in decades.
I couldn't move.
He also checked my 'pair' and confirmed they're bigger than yours.

Mine came from a Dutch brand of Mayonnaise which, at the time, wasn't allowed for sale in the UK.
Something to do with egg yolk content or something, I can't recall.
