I had a squat rack, a bench, Olympic bars 7ft, 6ft, 5ft, Olympic plates 25kg-1.25kg, some York dumbbells with collars and a plentiful variation in weights, chalk and some lifting straps, rubber mats and a weight plate tree, a spinning bike and then later I got a Nordic Trak cross trainer..
I also had a little fan heater for the winter months, a mirror and a clock for timing rest periods..

I also had a chalk board and diary to keep track of progress.

I dunno what it is, but the way that reads is that you sit there looking at the mirror while the clock ticks by.

My kit will be very similar to this, the rack I'm get has high and low pulleys as well for late pull down, seated row and other bits.

I'm getting a 7ft olympic bar and Olympic dumbells bars and collars, with a load of plates.

I'm getting an olympic ez bar to go with it.

I'm thinking about saving the money on the dumbell set and just getting another couple of set of Olympic dumbell bars and beefing up the plates collection. the dumbell sets aren't cheap and the one I was looking at only goes up to 30kg!

Mate, that is bang on!! Just what I was after!!!

I must have a million questions running through my mind now, I'm even buying my cabin from the same place!!

I changed the cabin from the one in the first post, I'm now going for the Winchester:

BillyOh Winchester Log Cabin - Log Cabin Summerhouses - Garden Buildings Direct

I've chosen this because its available in 5m x 3m and although its only 500mm more in depth than the one I originally wanted I think it will come in handy!

The misses is going to kick my [email protected]#e but I've also gone for the 44mm Ultimate walls, 19mm floor, 19mm roof with premium Shingle roof covering and the double glazed option.

What spec did you go with? How do you find the sturdiness? How strong is the floor? Does it get cold in the winter?? Is it bearable?

Did you build it on your own? I've got a chippie mate helping me build mine and I've allowed 2 days, I'm guessing that will ample??

Did you varnish inside, would you recommend doing so?

Ive got a sparky mate coming round in a few weeks time to run the swa cable up to the back of the garden ready.

I going to put a heater on the wall and maybe a tv and also some track lighting, have you added power yet, if so what did you do?

My power rack that's linked in the first post is 2160mm high and I believe the eaves height is 2090mm from the floor with the ridge height being 2470mm. This means I will have to have my rack against the back wall opposite the doors but I don't want it right in front of the doors straight as you walk in, how far to left or right will I be able to move it before it starts to touch the declining roof?

Most importantly, how is working out for you, how often are you there?? Was it worth it?

What do you think of the kit I'm planning to put in, what would you add or take away?

I said there was a lot of questions I hope you don't mind.,
