I'm no expert by any means on keto diets, but I asked about being able to sustain it long term wise in much of a sense of your food restrictions that will effectively bring you out of ketosis, are you allowed white bread, alchohol, cakes, takeaways. When on a weight loss journey you have to accept that somewhere along the line you will eat such things as this, for the average Joe these are just apart of basic life, and for most people if you told them they had to give up such foods and beverages for the long term maybe even for ever, they'd likely have mental break and put all the weight back on, so there has to be some kind of balance, a happy medium, which for most that means being able to indulge without the guilt or obsession about being out of " ketosis ".
Now hunters long long ago as history tells us the cave man spent many hours even days stalking and trying to kill its prey in many primative ways which would by today's standard make them absolute physical machines, and effectively without being aware doing many hours of exercise likely in hunger, one could say in a " fasted state ", but that was their way of life for then.
Now all credit to you for your weight loss and if the keto diet is working for then that's great, but I think that it also has be accepted that if you would have stuck to any diet for an acceptable amount of time at 6ft 3 and 24 stone there was weight to be lost , again that is not to steer away from what you are achieving I am just stating fact. |
