Why do we have such a wide choice of Chinese, Italian, and Indian products in the supermarkets, but no French.

I wanted some Saucisson (Salami is not the same) for nibbles. and some Syrop de Cassis to make some Kir Royal for Christmas day.

Other thing I couldn't get were Portabello mushrooms but should get those locally tomorrow.
