I'm pretty sure I had it once, and don't remember not liking it.

Quite how a two year old brew is an "outstanding vintage" though? I'm not "up" on wines, so it might be, but it doesn't seem like a long enough time to be considered vintage...

If it tastes nice I don’t care.

Vintage in this usage is "the year it was made"  So 2017 was supposed to be a very good year

Unlike the petite sirah this one has a strange aftertaste. Almost oily. Struggling to finish it.

Thus was a lovely bottle of Bordeaux. Fruity, rich and plenty going on in the aftertaste. I demolished the bottle last night with a big thick steak.

Price here 20€ (I think)

Not sure if it's been covered before but sparkling red - seems odd, actually very nice.

Still trying to complete my 19 Crimes cork collection......anyway has anyone joined a wine club online? I’m pretty certain I had an account with Laithwaites back in the day, has anyone tried Naked Wines?

Open to recommendations

Wine Society is probably the best. One off payment and no ongoing payments. Wines range from c£5 to £££. I see their wines recommended a lot in wine columns.

Naked Wines are not bad but we found them to be expensive v the offerings from the discount supermarkets.

Avoid Virgin - horrendous spamming from them.
