Sounds nice. I wasn't aware they did wine production in Canada.

I cracked open a bottle of my fav wine last night. Lovely drop with duck breast.

I’ve been drinking Hans Baer Pinot Noir lately. Light and fruity German wine. I only picked up the bottle because it had a picture of a bear riding a bicycle on it

I can only find it at Tesco and they never have enough in stock.

I’ve been over to Portugal a couple of times recently with work and yet to have a single glass of red (or white) which wasn’t amazing. Even eating in a locals restaurant and getting carafes of house red for very little money, it was lovely.

I'm generally a French wine drinker, but recently had a Portugese red recommended called Porta 6, Lisboa. If you like a medium bodied wine it's definitely worth a try, and currently only £6.99 at my local wine merchant.

French is probably our least favourite wine, we usually go for Australian/New Zealand or some of the newer world up and coming ones.
That Portugese one looks like one we would try, so will look out for, thanks for sharing.

The original Alazani Valley is my #1, red semi-sweet, but it's really hard to find

Corbierres is one of my favourites. And a decent Chianti, with cured meats and cheese during the summer
