I had a very nice Hepple gin. It's a fresh drink and most pleasing on the palate

I really enjoyed this when I tried it at my in-laws. One of the few gins I don't mind with normal tonic

Seen that on offer a few times but wasn't sure as it says spiced. Does it work with mixer tonic ok then?
I'm presuming it won't be great with most cocktails if it's heavily spiced.

Visited a Micro pub today with a selection of at least 20 gins and after trying Chatham dockyard again found a new one with a taste I enjoy.

Bit late to the party here.  Purchased a bottle of Bulldog Gin the other day (after browsing this thread!).

Lots of ice and Ginger Beer (or Ale, can't remember which).   Very nice.

Have got a few other mixers (tonic waters -elderflower etc) to try out when the sun returns.

You don't need sun to enjoy a G&T!

Try Bulldog with fever tree (gold can/bottle) and a slice of red/pink grapefruit.

I tried Fever Tree again last week...absolutely horrible, really can't get on with the taste. Back to the Sainsburys own brand for the time being that is a lot lighter with less overpowering flavour
