As I understood it at the time, these Breville products are officially in the UK only under the Sage label. But in other territories like Australia and South Africa they are only under the Breville brand...So be careful if you see it as Breville in the UK...Then again if you can get it free of charge who cares....
It should be noted that for the slow cook, they really don't do much different than cheaper pots. Only thing for slow cook that may be relevant, is that with sear functions you really keep all flavours together as there is no need to transfer anything. I hope that makes sense.
PS. Whether it really makes a material difference I honestly don't know as I've never owned one without such capability. Regardless slow cooking is one of the favourite meals for our family in its many different varieties... |
