I have the q200 and mine does take the small bottles

Really? I'll have to put the small gas regulator that I took off my performer on it and give it a go

I'm not 100% sure but I think that the UK Q200s use large bottles with a regulator, so the gas jets may be different from US ones that can take a canister.  Check it

The gas jets on both the Q100 and Q200 are just a tube with holes in it. What I'm not sure is whether the mini canisters can deliver enough gas to properly "power" the Q200. Not really an issue for me as I have the 100 when I want to be portable but I may swap the regulators over just out of interest.
