The current mess is as much Jeremy's fault. He knew he couldn't possibly secure a majority whatever he tried, so he decided to throw a 1970's themed election party and boost his personal profile.

Thanks to his insane manifesto we're now all set for another decade of austerity after the Tories have done what they must to see off the current predicament.


The only good thing to come out of this election was Jeremy beating Usain Bolt in a new world record time of 8.17 seconds.

It's May's mess alone or, at best, she shares it with Cameron. She's had all but a year where the only achievements were running an abysmal campaign, for an election she should never have called and lost the majority Cameron had gained. Corbyn is to blame though, for being the opposition.

I don't think you need to worry too much about the comings months/years. Much of this Parliament - at least the first few years - will be wrapped up in Brexit and that is inevitably going have to go for broad consensus which is going to be a very, very good thing for this country.

Agreed, a cross-party hard brexit will certainly put an end to the indyref nonsense and hopefully to 'vinegar tits' Sturgeon too.

Seems I was wrong the other day. I thought it was 82% of the electorate that had voted for hard brexit. It was actually 85%.

Well, as long as 'hard Brexit' includes the customs union and huge swathes of the Single Market, I think we will have a solution that satisfies all. Or at least an interim solution until we can one day re-join.
