I dont know which "string of piss poor performances" you are referring to but politics should be about issues not personalities.As i understand it her blood sugar count was way out of kilter which accounts for her state of confusion.She is now ready to go back to work .

Politicians are people LGS, that's why we have politicians.
If a politician's performances and suitability for their job were not open to question, why would we even have politicians? Why would we need to have politics?

Find me a single attack on Abbott's 'personality' and I may agree with you, but all I've seen is attacks on her suitability to be a front bench politician, or parking attendant.

like anyone who is sick should know their figures too or whatever. No, its not like its at a critical stage of anything hugely important as in policy or something that affects people's lives.Frankly, the election is done with now and there is the whole matter of something far more critical ahead and I have absolutely no faith that May will be able to pull of anything which will be remotely beneficial for this nation.My guess is she will have to come back to us with her tail between her legs and state unequivocally that there is only one sensible choice and that is to call for another referendum

If Abbott can't answer questions on a radio phone in then she wasn't going to be able to chair Cobra meetings after a terrorist attack.

She is disliked due to her past record not the last few days and that's not due to her being black and a woman either.

She's enjoyed grammar schools, private education, the modern housing market and the gradual changes across british society etc but wants to deny everyone else those advantages so they rely on government for all their needs.
