Well that's the rub though, if it all goes wrong she'll not have Labour or the Liberal Democrats to blame for making it harder to achieve what she wants to achieve. It's a bold move on her part.
Nope. Putin will be cracking the whip a lot in the next couple of weeks "Hack Harder".
I think some Labour MP's (if they hold onto a seat) will be quite sanguine about it. If Labour gets wiped out then so be it. It might reforge Labour into a proper political party again or it'll become a footnote in the history books.
The only way it won't go through if it Brexiteers on the Tory backbenches rebel, a bigger majority might weaken their hand and could strengthen May's. She's taking a big gamble on this going the way she wants. In so much she could get a majority but will it be a majority that's on her side or sides with the hardcore Brexiteer wing of the Party. Labour is facing a wipe out. |
