That depends on how you sell the reasons as to why the incumbent party has gone to the polls.
Added to which, every Labour supporter in the land will know that they are 20 points down in the polls and likely to not fare well in the proposed snap election.
Now if Labour was Joe Public's party of choice, as you have put it so nicely, they surely would be ahead of the Tories in the polls? As they aren't, they can't be the party of choice for Joe Public and hence shouldn't gamble on a snap election. |
