Unfortunately more than I would like, as I don't typically read tabloids, newspapers or their online equivalents.

Whenever I read such striking statistical claims, I typically trace it back to the original article and its invariably them or the Daily Mail. Obviously that's just my experience and doesn't necessarily reflect reality...

Don't worry. I'm sure the 'other team' talk just as much nonsense to satisfy their political agenda too.

As said, be happy to look into anything statistical related that you think is suspect

I like to think I can do it objectively and free of the typical tribalist loyalism you get in political threads....
