Didn't last long though as it was back below the next day

Though i see it's back above the 1999 level again now, just.

So many ups and downs.

Still massively underperforming (for obvious reasons) other markets around the world though.

Maybe a new thread, when will the FTSE reach 7000.

How about changing the title to a strike through 6000 and 7000 after?
Everyone will be happy then

Aye, good idea.

Then hopefully we can strike 7000 out within a month and put 8000

I can't work out how to "strike through" on the title.  Is it possible?

No, I don't think so.  how about "when will the ftse pass the next 1000 target?"

Europe seems to be expecting a crash when the markets open shortly.  It will be interesting to see how the Greece crisis affects the FTSE.

Down but slowly rising again.

Whether it's a false dawn and it will tank again, who knows.  If the DOW falls this afternoon then we have to follow it.

Thread title still relevant as long as the politicians of Europe continue to behave like brainless zombies.
