No, its all about relative priorities Sonic. Westminster has shown the English it is incapable of passing basic legislation to allow larger shops to open concurrent with people coming home from a Sunday out or when they commute back to work. If they can't do something as easy as that, how can they be expected to exclusively run a country? It makes the need for the EU all the greater to compensate for the inadequacies of Westminster.
Thankfully, like most who live in Scotland, I am buffered from this inadequacy. But I have properties in London, Warwickshire and Hampshire so can see the importance of compensating for the Westminster shortfall. |
