Yes I do approve of him, he does what he says, it’s a breath of fresh air in politics anywhere!
Of course he has several closets of bad stuff, same as any other US president in history.
He put tariffs on steel because of the way China has manipulated the world market, illegally, no one else has bothered to take a stand on that.

He stands up for his country, which is a very very rare thing for countries these days! Like him or not, he is what all politicians should be like.

Of course I don’t agree with all his policies, but that isn’t the thread topic.

God, what it must be like to have a politician you voted for represent you... must be nice.

The US is even worse for manipulating things.
Also, if you look at the tax bill that was passed there are some interesting bits in it.
For example corporate tax has been reduced for 35% to 21%. OK so far but those on the board of a company can put money the make through the company thus paying 21% instead of the usual 50% - it is called pass through.
Health bill? Not happening.
Infrastructure? Now individual states are expected to pay for it because the 1.5$ trillion has gone to the rich via means such as pass through.
He has also told at least 3,000 proven lies and as to staff turnover...

India is very anti-British, we make an easy scapegoat for politicians.

India is anti western companies in general because of historical abuses. But quick enough to realise trade is important

I do wonder at what Trump supporters think about the long term implications of the US alienating it's allies, trade wars with the EU and China and the general chaos and destabilisation of what was once a relatively strong unified front against certain other parties on the world stage.

I mean, if you wanted a perfect scenario for Russia, one where it's political and economic competitors were weakened and at odds with each other, you couldn't think of many better situations.

I'm not suggesting a conspiracy or that Trump is purposefully working to destabilise the Western opponents of Russia and it's competitors, just that the results of his actions and policies appear to be doing just that.

Has that even occurred to the Trump fan club, or have they missed it in all their reverie over the idea of pushing back against perceived threats from foreign cultures and influences upon their own ?

I’m sure the group who support Donald Trump is as wide and varied as any other political leader. As such I’ll guess that some did and do, and some didn’t and don’t.

That is not an answer to my question.

In essence, it can not be denied that there is a significant Trump supporter base in the US who are fervently conservative culturally and politically - it is those in particular I would wonder, what if anything they feel about the fallout of the current political situation favouring and strengthening Russia at the cost of the West.

In my opinion it is the only feasibly correct answer to your question.
