Why do you think the EU want Poland etc within the EU and the free movement of labour. So that the cheap polish and often very skilled labour can and do want to work in Germany making Cars. It's simply how the world works.
Think if the UK open it's eye and agreed a trade agreement with India so that labour was free to move between the two countries we could be challenging silicon valley.
