Cornwall is part of England, so yes.
They have no real history of being an independent nation so I'd find it bizarre if they wanted independence from England.
Especially as the point about tax raised Vs spending would apply to Cornwall I suspect - though it appears hard to find any Cornish specific figures to back that up.
They are one of the poorer regions, so it seems likely that tax raised will be less and spending more than the average. |
