In the video, the guy analysing the data says that the figures include spending on the local elections too.  Seeing as TBP didn't field anyone in the local elections, that's a fair amount of difference.

However, back to the original article you linked to, it intimates overall spending for TBP as £19k when they actually spent £127k overall.  In a thread specifically discussing the use of arguably misleading financial information to further a specific message, you've shared a good example.

It's the fist time I've read up on this guys' campaign/crowdfunding but he looks to have started the ball rolling 2.5 years ago.  Whilst it's clearly bad timing for Johnson, ahead of a leadership race, it looks more like coincidental timing from the detail available.  Although, obviously, the media who want to make Johnson look bad will begin to give more airtime to the case.

And I had no idea Change had so much money in such a short time. No doubt Gordon Brown will call for them to be investigated and the electoral commission will be straight round.

If they've done something illegal, or someone accuses them of it, I'd expect them to be investigated accordingly.  However, that's got nothing to do with the point of Guido misrepresenting spending data from the last week before the elections, and including local election spending, as total spending to defend TBP; but back to Johnson.
