We do send £350 million to the EU and get back £100 million as a rebate and yet that's being wilfully denied.

Poor old Boris - he's not a popular man in political circles and it seems his opponents will put any obstacle in his path to trip him up.

This is obviously a political manoeuvre and a unique legal test case.

The actual amount that moves is £250 million. But that's a separate issue.

It isn't wrong to say "we give the £350 million" and that was what was on the bus.

Fella is ok ?i did not offend ?  . Please do not use that myopic discussion tool, you quite rightly exposed his position as I had in a previous post . I was just expressing that an entire party can do the same as in sit on a fence and then shift its posiion , flip flop for votes.

..is factually incorrect.  The £350 million figure isn’t incorrect, it’s the statement that we send that much to the EU each week.

As you say, the actual amount that moves is £250m, hence “we send £250m to the EU each week” is correct.
