But it’s misleading to say that they have as many MPs as LibDem because they weren’t voted in as Independent Party candidates.
The real proof would be for them all to force by-elections, stand as candidates and then see how many of them get voted in as MPs. My guess would be ZERO.
Also can they exist as a purple party or is the only thing the two parts have in common is being anti-Brexit. The three ex-tories have already said that they will continue to support the government on anything that is not Brexit.
