The problem is that her version has been downvoted several times already. And with good reason. Bringing it to a referendum is pointless until there is willingness to negotiate by the EU which reportedly there isn’t. They already know it is not acceptable.

We have to do something. It’s pretty clear that No Deal isn’t going to happen - parliament is always going to block it.

It doesn’t matter what Boris brings back either - it’ll get rejected.

Can’t see an election changing any of this. Another referendum would give parliament the mandate it needs to put an end to it.

I'll point out again. If parties and MPs say they won't respect a leave vote, how does this solve anything?

You say Parliament won’t accept no deal yet suggest a referendum with the question no deal vs May’s deal.

So what happens if no deal wins? Parliament ignores it and we’re no further forward.

I think it is quite a helpful statement from the Lib Dems.  Those who vote for them are under no illusion whatsoever that a vote for them is a vote to revoke Article 50.  I think that does help solve things because it allows people to make a very clear choice.  Other parties should be equally clear.  That is the only way we will escape this impasse.  All things to all people means just more delay and uncertainty.

That is an unrealistic scenerio - this Parliament is not going to put no deal on the ballet paper at all.

Which is why a second referendum won’t solve anything, as the question is likely to be Remain vs May’s deal or something similar that bears little resemblance to actually leaving.

Would never vote Lib Dem as I don’t agree with anything they say, but at least they’re up front about it, anyone that votes for them knows exactly what they’re voting for.

As with the Tories and the Brexit Party.

What you’re voting for with Labour is anyone’s guess.

Yes.

An elitist party that thinks the public cannot be trusted to make their own decisions.

Considering they are asking the people to make the decision in the next General Election, your analysis would seem to be flawed.
