Despite what they may claim there's always the issue of the past actions of some of their membership...... And pardons/Agreements or not it's asking a lot for others to simply forgive and forget IMO especially as they didn't even have the decency to change their name......

100 votes now cast, currently 42% Tories and only 5% Labour. I know this forum isn't representative of the general population but I would have thought Labour would do a bit better. Liberal Dems on 22%.

If we took this poll, that would put Libs as 2nd party.

At a next GE , like it or not if Brexit has not been resolved then it will once again dominate a next GE.  

As it stands now , Labour will be obliterated on either side of the fence . Be that remainers that move to Lib Dem , leavers that move to TBP and moderate new Labour voters who will not vote the JC/JMc ticket .

An influx of workers, because there were jobs to be filled? So i’m guessing if we cut off the supply of EU immigration we’ll need to open up tier 3 immigration from non EU counties? We don’t have particularly high unemployment, so I’m guessing it’s not stopping UK citizens from working?

If we want to grow our economy, we're still going to need people to do these jobs - especially if it grows at the rate that those who supported leave suggested it could.

Yes, I’m pretty liberal minded - I’d prefer it if we didn’t leave. However, I totally respect the views of others - but doesn’t mean I can’t say that I think they’re wrong.

I understand that we have leave now - but I tend to but my faith in the economists, experts and those that know a whole lot more than me, who say that a withdrawal agreement is a far safer proposition than just barging our way out with nothing.

Unless of course the electorate change their mind.

Is anyone saying cut off immigration? Either from the EU or anywhere else.

If there are people we need to do certain jobs, be it fruit picking or brain surgery, who says we’re going to completely stop them?

Stop guessing, read the book, the book of course is not definitive, government policy focusing on global interests rather than national interests. The public knew full well the affects of liberal immigration policies in their local areas.
Socialism disguised as liberalism has taken a foot hold in political life, the Trump and Brexit votes were a clear indicator of public unrest.
